During your craps-gambling experience, you will likely have more non-winning encounters than winners. Accept it. You must learn to wager in reality, not in dream land. Craps is constructed for the participant to not win.

Suppose, after 2 hours, the ivories have brought your chip stack down to twenty dollars. You have not observed a smokin’ hot throw in a long time. Although losing is as much a part of the game as acquiring a win, you can not help but feel bad. You ponder why you even bothered coming to las vegas in the first place. You were a rock for two hours, but it didn’t work. You want to win so badly that you fritter away control of your clear-headedness. You are down to your very last $20 for the night and you have absolutely no oomph left. Walk away!

You can never give up, never bow out, never consider, "This is aweful, I’m going to lay the remainder on the Hard 4 and, if I lose, then I’ll call it quits. On the other hand if I win, I’ll be back where I began." That’s the most brainless action you can perform at the end of a losing session.

If you cannot accept losing, you have no business placing bets. If you can not bear losing a particular game, then walk away from that session and take your money. Do not piss your $$$$ away on a horrible bet looking to hit it huge and get your $$$$$ back all at once.

If it is an awful night and you lose a lot quickly, then accept defeat and take your money with the ten dollars, 15 dollars, or twenty dollars that you have remaining. Take that leftover $20, go have a beer in the lounge, listen to the band. Put the money in a five cent video poker machine and perhaps hit a 1,000-coin jackpot for fifty dollars. Place it in your wallet, find your partner, and spend some time with them. Don’t relent. Do something other than pee your $$$$ away on a non-winning proposition bet. Don’t toss in the towel.
