You observe a table with a few open seats. Which seat should you take? That is a matter of personal preference. Is there a beautiful man or female playing by themselves at one end of the table? Which gamblers are using cigarettes? Which appear to be cynical? Who appear drunk or awful? Choose a spot where you’ll feel the most at ease.
I like gambling on the end, directly next to the croupier. On the end, I don’t need to worry about folks on both sides of me. I do not like betting beside to the stickman because I always seem to be in the way of them trying to get the dice or maneuvering the stick.
After betting for a bit, you will get a feel for your favorite position. You do not have an option when it is packed. If you end up in a lousy spot (for example, an annoying person is near you), just move to a further free spot. If the table is packed, hang out until a person walks away and take their position. Be aware of a gambler "coloring up," which is an indication that she is departing, and inform the dealer that you wish to move into her seat. The dealer will then reserve that spot and not permit a different person to rapidly step in. The croupier will gently ask the new candidate to move to the location that you vacate. Naturally, when you switch positions, don’t leave your your chips.
People near you can have an affect on your mood and complete wagering experience. They can make it exciting or horrible. You may get stuck next to a chimney like heavyset player with horrid body odor, or it could be a group of drunk hotties busting out of their skimpy tops. So, choose your spot wisely.
